Artist Dawn Eskins is from Avon NC, a Virginia Commonwealth Univ grad, a published author, and business owner in the food and the arts industries. Dawn started as a graphic designer in Va. In 2008 she founded one of the first cupcake bakeries, and was featured at women’s shows and on Cupcake Wars. Dawn uses variety of mixed media including watercolor, gouache and pastels, together on canvas boards.  She owns Studio 12 Art Center in Avon NC, which features her original canvases and prints for sale.
