The popular OBX Arts & Craft Festival returns to Kitty Hawk on Wednesday and Thursday, September 9–10, bringing together 24 locally known artists and supporting three Outer Banks charities.

The two-day festival will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn at Milepost 1.5 in Kitty Hawk from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 10.

Admission and parking are free.

Considered one of the Outer Banks’ most popular annual art shows, the festival offers visitors an opportunity to browse and purchase an impressive variety of original, handcrafted works created by local artists.

This year’s show will feature 24 artists working in a wide range of mediums, including painting, photography, jewelry, basketry, fiber arts, collage, glass and more.

In addition to celebrating the Outer Banks’ thriving arts community, the festival will once again shine a spotlight on three local charitable organizations: N.E.S.T. (Network for Endangered Sea Turtles), Beach Food Pantry and Coastal Humane Society.

Each organization will have a booth at the festival, giving attendees an opportunity to learn more about their work and the services they provide to the Outer Banks community.

The combination of local art and community support has become a hallmark of the annual event, providing visitors and residents alike with an opportunity to discover unique artwork while learning more about organizations making a difference throughout the Outer Banks.
